While I know that 2016 is the year of the monkey on the Chinese calendar, for me, it is the year of the cat, because I’m promoting my book “Kill All Cats“.

- 1st. Publish “Kill All Cats”. Because my cockatiel told me to do it via CreateSpace and Kindle (Amazon) and Smashwords, which makes the book and ebook available on all the other platforms and most bookstores. (Update: Actually, the official date of publication became June 5th.)
- 2nd. Home and exhausted because of what happened on the first. (Update: Yeah, I’m tired.)
- 11th. Attending Writer’s Morning Out in Pittsboro, NC to hobnob with other writers and learn more about self-publishing.
July
- 8th, Friday, “Kill All Cats”, featured book on the North Carolina Writers Network “Book Buzz” site.
- 9th, Saturday, 1-3 p.m. Attending Writer’s Morning Out at The Brewery in Pittsboro, NC to hobnob with other writers and learn more about self-publishing.

- 14th, Thursday, An article and interview about “Kill All Cats” on The Gumshoe Review is live.
- 19th, Tuesday, “The 23-Month Pregnancy” up on Montana Scribble blog. It’s the story of giving birth to “Kill All Cats”.
- 25th, Saturday, 5-star review posted on the CPMA Book Review Blog.

- National Novel Writing Month (NANOWRIMO). While I will not be participating in it, I will be in spirit as I finish writing and editing Don’t Fear the Reaper, which I’m trying to get ready for publication in June 2017.
- 04-06. North Carolina Writers Network (NCWN) Fall Conference in Raleigh, NC. Taking the Master’s Classes. Copies of all my books will be available for sale and signing.
